Flow Rate Indicating Meter

An instrument for measuring the rate of flow of a fluid through a pipeline. This measurement is indicated on a graduated scale either by means of a float confined in a tube, or pointer connected to a vane, or piston and spring or the like. Excludes meter, fluid flow indicating, differential pressure; meter, fluid flow indicating, electromagnetic; and meter, fluid flow indicating, ultrasonic.
