Alternating Current-di Generator

A generator which has a characteristic of current and voltage that is continually reversing in direction of flow at regular intervals and also has provisions for voltage and current flow in one direction at all times and is essentially constant in value. Does not include rotary converters, rotary inverters, motor generators, generator sets, synchro generators, selsyns, frequency or phase changers, and dynamotors.
