Hospital Personnel Gown

An outer garment, extending from the shoulders to various lengths between the thighs and the ankles, designed to be worn over the clothing of personnel performing duties where explosive gases are not present, such as care of patients with communicable diseases, handling of sterile supplies, or in laundry and research areas. Excludes gown, hospital patient; gown, operating, surgical; gown, patient examining and cape, patient examining.
