Radome

A resistor whose ohmic value cannot be adjusted or varied. The resistance element consists of either a thin layer of conductive material, containing either binders or insulating materials, deposited on an insulated form; or an alloy of metal and ceramic materials, usually fused to an insulated form. Opposition to the flow of current is an inherent property of the materials used and is manifest by the heat dissipation in the resistor. See also attenuator, fixed and resistor, fixed, composition. Excludes:carbon composition type resistors.

spherical in shape; six m6 bolts are used to attach the radome to the reflector; teglar 207150; valuline molded gray radome with andrew flash special features, glass fiber or plastic material, 2.000 feet nominal overall diameter, provides the feeds with protection against weather and physical damage; prevents the accumulation of leaves, sand and other debris in horizontally mounted antennas; covers the entire concave side of the parabolic reflector as well as the feed; can withstand moderate impact blows such as falling pieces of ice, etc and will regain its shape; will survive winds up to 200 km/hr, 125 mph, without damage functional description, flexible radome flexibility.
