Solid Center Punch

A round knurled, square hexagonal or octagonal bodied hand tool having a round tapered section terminating in a blunt conical point which is ground to an included angle of approximately 60 to 90 degrees (1.047 radians to 1.570 radians). See also punch, center, automatic. Excludes punch, prick.
