Electrical Shield Plate

A metallic or metallic coated item which is rigid or semirigid, flat, and generally smooth. Its thickness is small in comparison to both its length and width, and is designed to prevent or reduce stray electro-magnetic and/or electrostatic fields between components or items. It may be used as a mechanical guard. Excludes plate (as otherwise modified); shield (as modified); and spacer, plate.
