Cable Strain Relief Bushing

An insulating item designed to prevent movement along the axis of an electric wire or cable in either direction when placed in the chassis of such items as electric fans, irons, drills, motors, radios, clocks and the like. It may be designed for use in the central column of a gun mount and the like. See also collar, cable.
