Receptacle Dummy Connector

An item specifically designed to mate with a plug connector to perform one or more special functions, such as to support a plug connector when not in use, short contacts, or open or close electrical circuits, in or on another connector. It does not have provisions for attaching a wire, cable, or contact. It is designed to mount on a panel, bulkhead, wall, or chassis. It does not include connector shells which are merely used to position a plug connector on a panel.
