An item specifically designed to facilitate the connection of a cable, (as modified) to a connector, plug, electrical; connector, receptacle, electrical; adapter, connector; dummy, connector, plug; dummy connector, receptacle; or the like, and provide for a grounded connection between the two items. It excludes shield, electrical connector and clamp, cable, electrical connector.
