Flutter Dampener

An automatic hydraulic or pneumatic device, designed to prevent damage to airframe components or structure through suppression of mechanical motion (flutter), caused by aerodynamic or mechanical forces, thus minimizing maintenance and repair. It may or may not be self-contained. Excludes dampener, fluid pressure.
