Snap Hook

A metal fastening device one or both ends of which are hook shaped with a closing or locking device over the throat opening which is held closed by spring action. If hook shaped on one end only the opposite end is provided with a fixed, loose, or swivel loop or opening for connecting to another item. Excludes cargo hooks with safety devices.
