Cam Follower Plain Bearing

A detachable assembly, which provides rolling contact with a cam or similar device, and converts reciprocating or oscillating motion to linear motion. The assembly consists of an outer ring and and integral stud. It does not employ rolling elements but may incorporate nonmetallic liners or sleeves to aid in reducing friction and/or providing lubrication. See also cam follower, needle bearing.
