The control motor and tachometer generator may be contained in the same or separate housings. It is designed for servo application where instant response to input signal is essential. It is generally used in circuits where the output potential from the tachometer generator is federal back to prevent excessive oscillation and for assuring high stability in a servo loop. Excludes dynamotor; and motor-generator.
