Designed to receive the energy of compressed air directed through nozzle vanes and impinged upon the blades of the turbine wheel creating rotary energy and motion. Drives an impeller or fan and discharges cool air. Consists of a single one piece wheel. It is a rotating part of an aircraft cooling turbine.
