Indicator Detent Plate

An item which is rigid or semi rigid, generally smooth, it may be curved or flat. its thickness is small in comparison to its length and width or diameter. it is used to establish predetermined operating positions of an item located relative to it. for items with tooth-like projections on the outer periphery see detent plate.
