Elec Modular Plug Connector Body

The main or principal part of a connector, modular plug, electrical which includes inser (s) but does not include removable contact(s) and having one or more cavitites into which an insert module, electrical connector can be installed. It may have a hood or shell, a jackscrew and jacksocket, or other means for polarizing and aligning. It is not designed to be mounted on a bulkhead, chassis, panel or the like.
