Slip Joint Pipe Coupling

A straight fitting having external threads on both ends. Each end is equipped with an internally threaded nut having an unthreaded reduced size opening which contains a gasket and other necessary parts. It is designed to join an unthreaded pipe to another unthreaded pipe in a straight line. It forms a tight fluid seal by the compression slip joint method. It may have a pipe stop.
