Nonvehicular Torque Converter

A nonvehicular item designed to transmit rotary motion from a driving member to a driven member through a reaction membe (s) by transfer of the kinetic energy of a fluid. It provides automatic selection of the optimum torque conversion ratio with a return to the 1 to 1 state at the earliest possible moment. May have flywheel features and facilities for direct drive.
