Modular Receptacl Connector Body

The main or principal part of a connector, modular receptacle, electrical which includes inser (s) but does not include removable contact(s) and having one or more cavities into which an insert module, electrical connector can be installed. It may have a hood or shell, a jackscrew and jacksocket, or other means for polarizing and aligning. It is designed to be mounted on a bulkhead, chassis, panel, wall, or the like.
