Drainage Pipe Lateral

A fitting having one or two branches which are fixed at various angles other than 90 degrees (1.5705 radians) to the run. It is used as a junction at the intersection of a drainage line and is provided with a shoulde (s) at the end(s) of its internal threaded or unthreaded portion, conforming to standard weight wrought iron pipe or copper drainage, waste and vent (dwv) tube. When connected, the mating pipe and/or pipe fitting is close to the shoulder to eliminate a pocket and provide a smooth flow to the contents of the line. It may have side inlet(s) .
