Prosthetic Stump Sock

A closed-end item of woven or knitted fabric worn over the residual limb of an amputee who wears a prosthetic device. It is designed to collect moisture and draw it away from the skin and to prevent chafing by the prosthetic appliance. Excludes stockinet, surgical and sock, cast, orthopedic.
