Control Rod

An item consisting primarily of a bar, one end of which is provided with a knob, handle, or the like, or with means for attaching a knob, handle, or the like. It is designed to manually operate or control a mechanical device. It may be straight or bent and may include attaching devices such as nuts, washers, and clevises. Excludes linkage not designed to be directly actuated by a knob or handle.
