Anchor Rod

A straight shank bar of circular cross section, having one end straight or angled and designed with an ey (s) or other provisions for securing a guy wire, cable, or rope. The opposite end is externally threaded or otherwise provided with a means of attaching to another item or a solid foundation. Has no designed means of anchoring into the ground. Excludes threaded end types with oval eye or round eye, for which, see bolt, eye.
